Privacy

AcouField is a calculation tool that runs in your browser. This page describes what the software actually does — nothing more.

What AcouField does with your data

  • AcouField runs entirely in your browser. Room dimensions, speaker positions and listening positions are never transmitted to a server.
  • There is no account system, no login and no database. Nothing you enter is stored after you close or reload the page.
  • No analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising technology are used.
  • No cookies are set. The only browser storage in use is a scroll-position entry the router keeps in sessionStorage for the current tab.
  • Fonts are served from this domain. AcouField makes no request to Google Fonts or any other third-party host at runtime.
  • The hosting provider processes standard technical connection data (such as IP address) in server logs, as is necessary to deliver any website.

What is never sent anywhere

Room dimensions, speaker coordinates, listening coordinates, movement constraints and every result derived from them stay in the browser tab they were entered in. They are not uploaded, logged or shared.

About the model

AcouField uses an idealized rectangular-room low-frequency model. It is a calculation, not a microphone measurement, and it cannot account for furniture, construction or absorption in your actual room.
